We found Quad Car Wash to be one of Malta’s most polished detailing hubs. Located inside the upscale Quad Central complex in Mrieħel, it offers premium vehicle care in an underground facility that protects your car from sun, rain, and dust.
We were impressed by the lineup of services, which included engine bay washing, ceramic coating polish, clay bar waxing, and even headlight restoration. This feels more like a showroom preparation, with microfiber cloth drying and deep upholstery sanitising as standard.
On the flip side, while they offer mobile service for voucher use, their full detailing is strictly in-house. That could limit those seeking the same level of service at home or in the workplace.
What made the experience even better was how seamlessly you could fit it into your day—drop off the car, grab a coffee, or run errands around the lifestyle complex. We also liked that you could reach them quickly via WhatsApp, making booking easy.
Another nice touch? They offer gift vouchers at €25, €55, and €70, making them a solid choice for gifting or splitting costs.

We were genuinely impressed by how ProMobile Car Wash takes the stress out of cleaning your car—no queues, drop-offs, or waiting. They drive straight to your home or office in a fully kitted-out van, ready to wash and detail on the spot.
What sets them apart is how transparent their prices are: €25 for a standard wash, €35 for deluxe, and up to €70 for full valeting with engine bay cleaning. Everything’s listed clearly on their site and includes VAT.
However, booking wasn’t as seamless as we’d hoped. We had to follow up more than once to confirm our slot. While the team was polite and apologetic, we recommend booking well in advance, especially if you’re on a tight schedule.
Still, we liked that everything’s done by hand, so there are no pressure machines in sight. Wax, chamois, microfiber, and branded shampoo are used for a truly paint-safe finish. We left feeling like the car had been pampered.
Another favourite feature was their attention to detail during interior cleaning. They hand-washed every inch and got into areas that most places miss, such as door trims and cup holders.

Muscats Motors may be known for selling BMWs and Jaguars, but their low-key car wash and detailing bay behind the Gżira showroom is worth discovering.
What makes it stand out is the in-house detailing setup powered by System X. Everything from ceramic coating to scratch correction is handled by staff trained directly by a System X representative.
We appreciate that this isn’t outsourced labour. Everyone on-site is a proper technician, not just a casual worker handed a hose. The staff takes great care of the paintwork and interior too.
The historic location adds unexpected charm too. The wash area sits next to a 1940s streamline-style showroom, and pulling in felt like we were part of something more premium than your average car wash.
Do note, though, that this isn’t where you go for a €10 rinse. There’s no quick-wash pricing or online booking, and you’ll need to ring them directly for tailored quotes.
Even so, we were impressed by the precision and professionalism. This is a solid, reliable choice if you want to give your car a showroom finish backed by over 80 years of automotive heritage.

Meli Car Wash has been operating since 1979 and is located on the premises of Meli Car Rentals in Qormi. We expected solid, no-nonsense service, and that’s exactly what we got.
It’s part of the Meli Group’s wider operation. It covers rentals, repairs, and leasing, making this wash bay feel like one piece of a well-oiled machine.
You’ll find automatic and manual options here, as well as extras like engine bay cleaning, interior valeting, and hand polishing.
However, it’s worth noting that all services are conducted on-site in Qormi, with no mobile valet or pickup options available.
Also, walk-ins aren’t accepted, which caught us off guard. You’ll need to call ahead or email, as they operate on a fixed schedule.
Regardless, what surprised us was how bundled the services felt. In one trip, you can drop off your car for a clean, check your tires, and arrange a rental car.
Another thing we noticed was how early they open on weekdays, which worked well for us when we dropped off the car before work.

“If you want somebody to take the hassle out of cleaning your rental car prior to return these guys are pretty amazing. An external clean is currently 10 euro ….but to keep the rental company from picking holes in the interior I’d recommend spending the extra 7 euro on the interior too because they do a superb job. From what I’ve read the self cleaning stations elsewhere are more hassle than they are worth. Should we return to lovely Malta we will be using them again.”

We found VC Service Station in Ħal Għargħur. It’s one of the most comprehensive car wash providers we’ve visited in Malta.
Backed by the long-established VC Group, it offers fuel and VRT testing, as well as 24/7 access to jet washes, rollover systems, and interior detailing.
What stood out to us was the practical setup. In a single visit, you can refuel, vacuum, wash, and even get your tyres sorted. It’s a true one-stop automotive hub.
The wash bays and detailing section were spotless, and we liked that they use premium, paint-safe shampoos and eco-friendly treatments.
Their valeting packages are also quite versatile. The team appeared well-trained and efficient in handling various paint types.
What surprised us the most was that they’re one of the few stations in Malta that accepts a wide range of credit cards.
On the downside, we couldn’t find any posted rates on their website or around the wash area, which made it hard to plan for costs beforehand. If transparent pricing is your priority, it might be worth calling or asking in person before committing.
