I loved every moment I spent at the school
“Hi from Georgia 🇬🇪!!!
It was my first time experiencing summer school with international students, specifically in Malta at the Gateway School of English. I loved every moment I spent at the school, but I especially enjoyed interacting with the students. This fact highlights the importance of becoming more open and sociable, which is vital in this communicative world. The accommodation was neat and clean. Additionally, the location was near the city center, close to a grocery store, and each room had air conditioning, which made it easy to escape from the humid weather. However, at night it was chilly. Most importantly, the studying process was inclusive, and everyone was engaged in the learning process. The teachers were from different parts of Europe; for example, we had a teacher from the UK. To put it in a nutshell, I will definitely visit this place again. Thank you for your effort.”

Still, I wish prices were lower, but it’s understandable considering the amount of technology they use.
Despite this, ACE’s accreditations truly impressed me since they’re accredited by Trinity College London and the ELT Council. Additionally, their team comes from a variety of countries and backgrounds, each suited to a specific group of students.
Lessons here are interactive, which are vividly laid out, and carefully designed to cater to various students’ needs. As for courses, there are adult and junior programmes available, with special sessions for families and groups.
Students also adore their IELTS and Cambridge Exam preparation courses, which are best for university students and working clients who wish to upskill.

English Path Malta’s free English Language Test truly tested my English proficiency and gave my teachers a clear idea of where I was on my English journey.
Additionally, they hold accreditations across the board, from the ELT Council to English Education Ireland, due to their many locations worldwide.
There are several courses available at English Path Malta, with the most notable ones being their General and Business English courses. Clients also appreciate their professional certifications, which are highly valued by marketing and business majors.
Given all these incredible services, their English ranking can be quite gruelling at times, resulting in a lower ranking than their proficiency warrants.
Still, I have to give bonus points for their weekend trips to Valletta and the Blue Lagoon, which helped my classmates and me practice our English through firsthand experiences. There are also communal spaces and a library where students can converse with fellow students.

I really like their learning environment
“People I met here are so amazing. Not only classmates but also teachers and staffs. My teacher Ola is very professional, thoughtful, kind and very interesting person. I’v enjoyed in her class and learned a lot. Staffs of EP are warm and careful. They always concerned about your learning situation and solve your problems immediately. So you don’t need to afraid that you cannot find someone to assist. In addition, I really like their learning environment, they are very new, including classrooms, electronic blackboard and toilets. Haha, those are what I care about when I choose a language school. If you also care about those points, you have to choose EP. You won’t regret and will thanks yourself.😍😍😍”

Maltalingua English Language School is a British-owned English school that specialises in individual attention to each student. They’re a small school that offers manageable class sizes, while utilising modernised facilities.
I found this school to be the best for younger students. They have programmes for kids as young as 8 and teenagers as old as 17. Additionally, they’re an EAQUALS-accredited school, highlighting their excellence in language education.
Classes here are 20-30 lessons per week, lasting 45 minutes each. These can typically last between 1 week to 52 weeks, depending on the course.

IELS Malta is a Cambridge English Educational Partner school with over 40 years of teaching experience. They’re located in Sliema, which is quite accessible by public transport and by car.
Placement tests are done at the beginning and end of each course, allowing clients to easily track their progress. Classes are done in small groups of 12, and each classroom is fully equipped with televisions and comfortable chairs.
Some notable courses they offer are the Intensive English course and their private lessons, which I’ve found quite helpful for building confidence in day-to-day conversations.
There are also exam preparation courses for the TOEIC and Cambridge Exams, which many clients rave about for their extensive nature. Clients I’ve spoken to love that they’re given plenty of practice and have their progress tracked throughout the weeks.
Still, courses here aren’t flexible. They’re not recommended for clients who are unavailable during class hours.
