Rejuvenate and thrive at the 5 best wellness centers in Malta
A restorative holiday in Malta goes far beyond sun-soaked beaches and scenic coastal views. It’s an opportunity to slow down and focus on restoring both physical and mental well-being in a setting designed for calm and comfort.
Across the islands, wellness centers provide carefully curated environments where experienced therapists and specialised treatments come together to relieve tension and promote balance.
To help you narrow the choices, I curated a list of Malta’s top wellness centers based on the quality of their facilities and the overall customer satisfaction. With the right choice, a truly relaxing and rejuvenating Maltese getaway is well within reach.
How much does a wellness treatment cost in Malta?
A wellness treatment in Malta typically costs between €45 to €150 per session. This price entirely depends on the treatments availed, packages offered, and the location of the wellness center.
1. Soul Solutions Spa

Address: Gillieru Hotel, Dawret Il-Gzejjer, San Pawl il-Baħar SPB 3256
Contact Details: +356 2704 0100
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Soul Solutions Spa combines holistic methods with traditional spa treatments to maximise the effectiveness of its services.
While they are located far north in Saint Paul’s Bay, which is difficult to reach, the trek there is well worth it for the views and overall experience.
The overall vibe is very calming, with a nice and chic decor. Prices are reasonable, around €150-€200 per person and €195 for couples.
The top-selling package here is the Poolside Paradise, which is best for couples. This includes a sauna experience, a 30-minute massage, and access to their pool and beach facilities.
Other notable treatments include CBD therapies such as reflexology and herbal drinks. There are also a plethora of facials and body treatments, such as deep-cleansing options, that are great at removing deep-seated dirt and grime.
I also like their slimming and detoxifying treatments, which come in 6-12 sessions.
Had a really lovely experience at Soul Solutions Spa
“My partner and I had a really lovely experience at Soul Solutions Spa. Everyone there was friendly and professional, and Traicy was especially kind and caring with us. The massages were amazing and helped us relax so much. The place is beautiful, calm, and very comfortable, which made the whole visit even better. We both left feeling great. Highly recommended! 🌿✨”

Absolutely love and adore this place
“I absolutely love and adore this place! Located in the beautiful Gillieru Hotel, the spa is a beautiful place where one just feels right at home. Super welcoming, clean and with excellent products to take care of my hair and body. A big thank you to Tracy, the graceful owner and hostess of the spa, Misha and Miriam, the masters of haircare, and Tara and Satana, who perform the most relaxing massages ever! Very glad I found this beautiful place in St Paul’s Bay 🌺🌺🌺”

2. The Phoenicia

Address: The Mall, Floriana FRN 1478
Contact Details: +356 2291 1131
Operating Hours: Monday to Sunday: 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Located in Valletta, The Phoenicia was established in the 1930s and has been a go-to wellness center ever since. Despite its age, they remain one of the best at providing reliable, affordable treatment for couples and mothers.
I love that the place still retains much of its original architecture. While modern aesthetics have come into play, such as gyms and sauna rooms, they still contrast beautifully with the original stone the spa was built with.
The pools here are great and spacious, with a relaxing atmosphere to boot. And while I was disappointed that there aren’t packages available, the treatments are fairly priced at around €105 to €200.
Their Jetpeel treatments, which are completely non-invasive, hydrate the skin beautifully and really help with complexion. Clients can also scan their skin, which some have found helpful in choosing the right products for acne and scarring.
I highly recommend this spa
“Recently in Malta for my birthday… treated myself to 2 spa days with wonderful massages at this relaxing spa. Grace, my massage therapist, was wonderful. I highly recommend this spa and the Signature Phoenicia massage! And don’t forget to make a reservation for afternoon tea 😉”

The best without a doubt
“I have tried afternoon tea in 4 different places in Malta, and Phoenicia is the best one without a doubt for both service and taste!
The first time I went there for a Spa + massage + afternoon package. The spa was nice and quiet but would be better if they had a Jacuzzi and an ice room.
For the second time, we had afternoon tea there yesterday to celebrate the birthday of a friend. I mentioned about birthday in the booking form and they served birthday plate which was so sweet.”

With over 30 years of service, Carisma Spa is an award-winning spa chain in Malta. They have been awarded by the World Luxury Spa Awards and the Malta and Healthcare Awards, which truly showcase their focus on providing great service.
Located in St. Julian’s, it’s a perfect place to rest and unwind while exploring the eastern side of the island. I like that they offer several unique packages that are great for individuals, couples, or even corporate groups.
The packages that stood out to me are the Spa Day and the Couple’s Spa. These come with great inclusions, such as a stay at an authentic Turkish Hammam and sunbathing at the pool.
Most packages also include a free full-body massage and their signature detox tea. Additionally, they also provide face masks and foot massages. Prices for these range from €60 to €200, which is on the expensive side.
Would definitely go again
“Was helped by Natalia to sort out a birthday package for myself and was soooo helpful. I went to the ramla bay hotel for my treatment and had the lovely Juliana. She gave me a Turkish hammam which Iv never had before was sooo amazing then followed by massage and free complimentary for hand and foot mask and catered to my own way of service. 10/10 treatment would defo go again.”

My experience at the spa was amazing
“My experience at the spa was amazing, starting with the service from Maila. She was very friendly and helpful. She served me a delicious tea at the beginning and then did everything she could to get me a hair dryer for me, as I wasn’t able to dry my hair properly with the one in the bathroom.
The massage experience with Julie was also incredible! She is an excellent professional and made me relax deeply with the Ayurvedic massage. I loved it!”

4. Sanya Eco Spa & Yoga Hub

Address: Triq L-Inkwina, In-Naxxar NXR 2641
Contact Details: +356 2143 6936
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Saturday: 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
At Sanya Eco Spa, they combine beauty and health with traditional spa services to provide maximum recovery and relaxation. Located in Naxxar, they offer some unique experiences that you simply can’t find anywhere else in Malta.
The most unique offering they have is their float tanks, which suspend clients in water, offering an extremely relaxing experience. These cost €55 per session, with clients able to pay for a monthly membership at €80-€155.
Personally, I like the Unwind Package best when heading here. It comes with aromatherapy and an anti-stress massage.
Sanya is much more modern than the other spas I’ve been to. Their vibe and aesthetic remind me of larger hotels in Europe, while still offering a homey, cosy feel that I find comforting in Maltese spas.
However, they do get a lot of guests, so bring a pair of earplugs if you want to drown out the noise.
A wonderful place to relax
“A wonderful place to relax! The spa has a sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, a small swimming pool, and warm/cold baths. The friendly staff, spotless amenities, and beautiful green areas create a peaceful atmosphere. A water cooler is available, and all prices are clearly listed online. Loved everything about Sanya Eco Spa!”

The best spa I’ve ever been to
“The best spa I’ve ever been to!
It offered a free lunch, a jacuzzi, a swimming pool, a steam room, and other great facilities.
Overall, the spa was spacious and had plenty of free areas to relax in
It’s not crowded and when you are here, you feel fully relaxed and abstracted from reality”

5. Myoka Spas, Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa

Address: 39 Main Street, St Julian’s
Contact Details: +356 2137 0163
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Saturday to Sunday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
The Myoka Spa at the Malta Marriott Hotel offers treatments from the Mediterranean, Orient, and Nordic regions. Many clients have experienced what they’d call a “state of nirvana” after treatments here, and I can agree.
Just like any spa at a Marriott Hotel, the Myoka Spas are stylish and classy. Marble columns and stone bricks are the main aesthetic, providing a Roman baths atmosphere that is quite classy.
Since we are in Malta, you should try the Maltese Collection here. The Maltese Escape and the Komfort Malti are great massages that focus on specific parts of the body, such as the feet and the back, to deliver maximum comfort.
Other notable treatments are the holistic facials that can hydrate, purify, and rejuvenate the skin. Most of their treatments cost between €110 to €200, which is quite steep compared to their competitors.
Every time we come, we feel like we are home
“We are frequent at Myoka Lotus, and every time we come we feel like we are home. From very first step at the reception you feel that you will be taken care off and treated very well as receptionists are always welcoming and accommodating.
Facilities are very well maintained, floors never left wet, shower rooms are always clean, massage rooms are very cosy, interior of the spa is very tasteful and creates an atmosphere of serenity and calmness.
All the therapists/masseuses are very professional and will take care of you well. For example, Jaya – she has strong yet delicate arms, she knows the anatomy of the muscles very well, she is using different techniques that promotes relaxation, reduces muscle tension and stiffness, helps you to recover both physically and mentally. She is true professional and I’ve experienced a lot massage therapies in my life, from Bali, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka to international award winning therapists in the Baltic states.
Whilst this review is specifically for Myoka Lotus spa, I can confirm that the entire chain of the Myoka Spas is one of the best you can find on the island – each location has something unique and something that stands out, but at the same time they all maintain very high standards of wellness services”

Had a wonderful half day at Myoka Spa
“We had a wonderful half day at Myoka Spa. Our massage therapists, Taa and Angelica, were absolutely amazing — incredibly skilled, attentive, and genuinely focused on making the experience relaxing and rejuvenating. From the moment we arrived, Alice and Carlos at the reception made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. They were friendly, helpful, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!”
