The 5 best 3D printing services in Malta for durable, high-quality prototypes
Honestly, trying to 3D print a project for university or just for your own creative ideas can get pretty pricey if you do it yourself. The filaments alone can run you hundreds of euros, and that’s before you even think about the cost of a 3D printer.
Fortunately, Malta has seen a big rise in 3D printing services, which is a lifesaver. They are ideal for small projects and even for hobbyists just experimenting. What’s really great is that many of these shops also handle post-processing, so your prints arrive fully finished.
After visiting several providers, I have picked my top 5 choices for 3D printing services in Malta. With their help, 3D printing is way easier and hassle-free.
How much does 3D printing cost in Malta?
3D printing in Malta typically costs around €15 to €600 per print. However, note that this range depends on project size, design complexity, and the type of filament used.

Established in 2018 by David and Alexandra Sciberras, Invent 3D has a large, 3-floor facility spanning over 1,500 sqm in Mriehel. Since then, they have integrated with 2 additional companies, ELM Fabrication and Malti3D.
Some items they print include trophies, film props, and architectural models. They are even great for quickly mass-producing product prototypes. When it comes to materials, there are no limitations—they can work with marble, bronze, and even wood, which is honestly impressive.
Invent 3D is well known across Europe, with its founders being well-known consultants in additive manufacturing. They also have a useful print-on-demand programme that costs €300 per month.
Previous clients interested in getting into 3D printing have been pleased with the experience. David and Alexandra offer valuable advice on choosing the right printers and filaments for your needs.
However, they have an age restriction on who can enter their facilities, so bring a parent if you are under 18.

The time to print was very fast
“David is a super knowledgeable guy who was extremely helpful in getting us a prototype piece, as well as aiding with the CAD design. The time to print was very fast and even after a small issue with a part of the prototype, he was able to reprint and give us the updated piece extremely quickly.
