There’s something really special about decorating with stationery. I love picking out different washi tapes and stickers to jazz up my notebooks, but back then, finding a good supplier was no easy task—especially on a remote island like Malta.
Fast forward a few years, and Malta’s stationery scene has completely changed. Stores now stock all kinds of supplies, from glues to glitters, making it easy to turn even the simplest, most boring items into little masterpieces.
I’ve explored several of the best stationery shops around Malta and discovered some of my personal favourites. They carry top-notch supplies and always have plenty in stock, making them perfect for anyone who loves getting creative with crafts.

De Beaufort Stationery is an easily accessible stationery store located in the heart of Birkirkara. They were once known as Pulp Stationers, and they’re a lovely corner shop that sells all kinds of wonderful stationery and goods.
I genuinely love that this small corner shop has it all, from notebooks to large binders. They’re well-equipped to handle all your stationery needs. They even offer print, scan, and photocopying services, which are often used by both locals and foreigners in the area.
It doesn’t stop there; they have unique holiday items, such as postcards and chocolates for certain occasions. They even have lovely items for kids, like colouring books and toys. I’ve even bought party supplies from here.
For those dealing with the Maltese heat, cold drinks are available—plus points since the shop is air-conditioned. They even deliver, which is neat.
I always look out for their discounts. Every now and then, you can snag a buy-one-get-one deal, which is always a nice treat.
However, operating hours are inconsistent, so be sure to check online.

Shop4All is a family-run business that stocks some of the best stationery brands available in Malta. Established in 2016, this stationery store has been catering to clients of all ages—especially children.
I love that they carry almost everything here, from laminating pouches to folders and different types of paper. There’s also a variety of glues, tapes, stickers, and labels.
I personally like to peruse their trending items section, as it often features interesting items, such as toys and seasonal items. The store offers a handy, diverse range of electronic accessories, from chargers to USB sticks, making it great for students.
Some notable brands that they carry are Clementoni and Crayola, which showcase their dedication to high-quality items.
Clients could conveniently order their items online with free shipping, which was quite handy. However, I found the minimum order price quite high, at over €50.

Located in Naxxar, Zaky’s Stationery offers unmatched customer service. They have a 30-day return policy that I simply adore, as it makes dealing with faulty products easy.
They sell several writing instruments here, including pens, coloured pencils, and crayons. Additionally, they offer a range of papers, fasteners, and adhesives. My favourite is the decorative rainbow glitter tape.
Uniquely, they sell self-inking stamps that are great for signatures. There are also several office essentials, including calculators. The store’s selection of back-to-school items and wrapping papers highlights its impressive range.
The shop is a fantastic spot for books, from children’s stories to fiction and non-fiction, and their selection of albums is a favourite among many customers.
Delivery is affordable, even to remote spots like Gozo. The shop can get crowded, though, since it’s quite popular.

With over 15 years in business, Buzzer caters to crafters, anime fans, and stationery enthusiasts. I love that they’re a family business that always strives to sell high-quality products through their personalised services.
The shop stocks a wide range of stationery products. These range from stationery paper to custom rubber stamps, perfect for decorating. They even sell computer consumables, such as printer paper and ink.
The true star of the show is their manga and anime collection. The shop’s collection of memorabilia is impressive, with art books and t-shirts standing out.
Additionally, the shop provides a handy range of printing services, from 3D printing to custom dice. They’re even trusted by local teachers for banners and charts. The shop even has book-covering services, which is a really nice touch.
However, you’ll have to head to the physical store to buy most of the items, since their online store is quite sparse.

Eduline, located in Birkirkara, is a beloved small shop offering a wide range of stationery items. They mainly cater to children, but also have items that certain adults may enjoy.
Personalisation is the game at Eduline. Their stationery items are quite cheap, with most being below €1, but that doesn’t discount their quality. Most of the items I bought here, especially paper, were all in great condition.
They’re also a leading seller of Maltese books, which showcases their dedication to the community. Additionally, they’re known for their personalised items, like mugs and t-shirts, which can be printed with practically anything.
As for their other services, they can easily create rubber stamps in a rectangular and square format. They’re even great for customised normal and waterproof labels and coasters.
However, these customised services can get quite expensive when compared to dedicated shops.
