Families and heritage enthusiasts will definitely enjoy the family-run vibe that highlights rich local traditions.
As for food, they serve a tasty à la carte breakfast packed with homemade items and fresh local produce.
The property also has a nice shared lounge and a courtyard garden that invite you to just slow down and relax.
That said, some guests have mentioned that certain ground-floor rooms can feel a bit damp and have limited storage space.
Even with that minor hiccup, the overall rustic charm and peaceful environment make it a lovely escape from the usual tourist crowds.
An awesome bed and breakfast
What an awesome bed and breakfast! A lovely historic building with lots of love to the details, stunning atmosphere and a very friendly host with good service. The bells of the church nearby are quite loud and in general, the walls seem to be rather thin. Better bring some ear plugs for a good sleep. Breakfast was a plus as well. Located closely to the harbor, so definitely worth a stay.

Blue House 9 Rooms & Breakfast offers such a cool way to experience the Three Cities: you can sleep inside an early 16th-century historic building!
This is a boutique spot that nicely blends heritage architecture with modern comfort. Also, their central location in Birgu makes it incredibly easy to walk around and sightsee.
When a friend of mine visited last year, they praised the cozy, intimate feel of this nine-room setup.
The daily breakfast is also a lovely perk that helps you start your mornings right before wandering the old streets.
Just a heads-up that some ground-floor rooms lack windows and might pick up a bit of street noise.
Still, getting the chance to stay inside one of Birgu’s oldest houses is quite special.
The breakfast is super good

There’s a very home-like feel to this refurbished 19th-century building. The family-operated nature of the place means you get plenty of personal attention throughout your stay.
You also get access to some great amenities, including an outdoor pool, fast internet, and a cute café.

However, one downside is that some of the sea-view rooms only offer partially obstructed or side views, depending on where you’re placed.
Regardless, the convenient location and the comfortable atmosphere make it a really solid choice for a coastal holiday.
