The 5 best Botox services in Malta for a youthful glow

Licensing and Credentials: I chose Botox services with licensed doctors and medical staff, as this ensures safety and that hygiene protocols are met.

Extensiveness of Treatment Plans: I selected Botox services with clear treatment plans that prioritise customers’ needs rather than include unnecessary treatments.

Quality of Product: I selected Botox providers who use high-quality Botox and presented this information to patients before procedures.

Cost of Procedures: I prioritised Botox services with reasonable procedure costs, without skimping on quality.

As we get older, wrinkles become increasingly prominent, no matter how much makeup we put on. Despite our efforts, we can’t simply turn back time, unless we resort to plastic surgery, like Botox injections.

Botox injections are a safe way to reduce wrinkles, providing patients with a youthful glow. While there are risks, these are minimal at best and are definitely worth it.

After discussing with family and friends, I’ve come up with a list of the best Botox services in Malta. These places can get rid of any wrinkles without breaking the bank.

How much does Botox cost in Malta?

Botox in Malta can cost between €75 and €320, depending on where it’s administered. Other factors that can easily affect the price include the number of Botox units used and the specific treatment plan for each patient.

Beauty Anatomy Malta has a great roster of beauty experts who can provide cosmetic procedures, such as Botox and fillers.

Their Botox treatment relaxes the muscles and utilises Botulinum Toxin Type A, a purified form of Botox. Unlike fillers, these address dynamic wrinkles effectively, and many clients have seen great results from this service.

Their Botox services can be done near the eyebrows, forehead lines, or treatment for Crow’s Feet around the eyes.

Bonus points for their dermal fillers that use hyaluronic acid, which is far safer and produces plumper results. Other impressive services include fat-reduction treatments that eliminate fat resistant to diet and exercise.

Aside from that, their IV treatments are swell and provide several health benefits by delivering vitamins and minerals directly into the bloodstream rather than taking them orally.

I also particularly like that they operate in several locations in Malta. This includes Sliema, Pieta, Birkirkara, Qormi, and San Gwann. However, they’re on an appointment-based system, so don’t expect to be treated immediately.

Pros

  • Wide range of cosmetic procedures
  • Utilises Botulinum Toxin Type A
  • Procedures cover a wide range of areas
  • Safe dermal fillers
  • Effective IV treatments

Cons

  • Appointment-based system

Carisma Aesthetics has been leading Malta’s wellness chain for over 30 years. Their staff are medically qualified and have been voted #1 med-aesthetics clinic in Malta.

They offer free consultations to clients, which can be done in the comfort of your own home. For an in-depth look at your needs, an in-person consultation is best.

Botox treatment here is done either on the face, neck, or to prevent underarm sweating. The procedure itself is fairly short, at around 15-30 minutes. Clients state that results can last 3-4 months.

Regular treatment here can easily help slow the formation of new wrinkles.

Additional treatments include polynucleotides and fat-dissolving treatments, which can help promote firmer, more radiant skin. Chemical peels and microneedling are also great for this.

Still, their prices are slightly higher than advertised, so I’d recommend calling beforehand to confirm.

Pros

  • Over 30 years of service
  • Voted #1 med-aesthetics clinic in Malta
  • Free online consultations
  • Wide range of cosmetic procedures

Cons

  • Misleading prices

Led by Dr Jordan Camilleri, a distinguished graduate of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Malta, he guides his specialised team in providing aesthetic treatments to patients through scientific means.

Botox at Health & Co is done in a single session and lasts for 15-30 minutes. These can be done in several sections of the face, such as the entire upper face and the lower face. Additionally, clients love that they have tailored procedures for men and women.

Aside from regular Botox, they also offer Baby Botox, which uses smaller doses for quicker results that are still as prominent as regular Botox.

Other services here include their unique Aerolase and HydraFacial, which I found to be great at hydrating the skin and tackling hyperpigmentation. The best part is that consultations here are free.

Yet, timeframes here are inconsistent. As a matter of fact, I had to wait a while before I was seen, which was disappointing.

Pros

  • Led by a graduate of Medicine and Surgery
  • Wide range of cosmetic procedures
  • Procedures are done quickly
  • Unique Baby Botox
  • Unique Aerolase and HydraFacial procedures

Cons

  • Inconsistent timeframes for procedures

St. Mary’s Clinic was founded by Dr Frank Farrugia and his wife, Bernadette. Established in 1999, they have a team of successful and licensed MDs who treat everything from wrinkles to hair loss. They later expanded to Mosta in 2004.

Their services are split between medical and beauty. When discussing their beauty services, I can’t help but gush about their Botox.

Unlike other clinics, they utilise smaller amounts of botulinum toxin and target specific muscles, offering a more natural result. They also use this to treat hyperhidrosis to great effect, and some clients have told me that this has helped remove their migraines.

Aside from that, clients found them to be a great clinic for weight loss and plastic surgery, offering liposuction and fat grafting that effectively sculpted their faces and bodies.

They can even treat respiratory cases and provide blood testing, which is always a plus.

However, wait times for procedures are long here, so clear your schedule for the day when you visit.

Pros

  • Clinic led by an MD
  • Wide range of cosmetic services
  • Wide range of medical services
  • Utilises small amounts of Botox

Cons

  • Long wait times

Fina Med-Aesthetics focuses on more than just the face, offering hair and nail services for a complete experience. Led by Claire Carbonaro, she has 15 years of experience in aesthetics and beauty, and is a professional Permanent Makeup Artist (PMA).

Botox here is aimed at enhancing already natural features rather than creating new ones. These refine and contour certain areas where volume has been lost and rebalance the harmony of the client’s face.

Additionally, their pricing is transparent, with Botox and skin boosters starting at €75. It’s quite reasonable and generally more affordable than at other clinics in Malta.

Other clinical services here include peels and microneedling, which can increase the absorption of certain nutrients and products into the skin. These provide a youthful glow that clients notice right away.

I’ve seen their work firsthand. They follow safety guidelines, and the procedure itself was performed by a professional doctor. However, when more work is needed, they transfer you to their partners at Baddie Aesthetics, which is an additional consultation.

Pros

  • Focuses on aesthetics
  • Led by a professional PMA
  • 15 years of experience
  • Provides great facial treatments

Cons

  • Complicated treatment requires transfer to a different clinic
