“I chose this car rental company on the basis of good reviews, clear web pages and really reasonable prices. I rented a car for 5 days. And from the beginning to the end of the rental I was extremely satisfied. Everything was easy. Clear online booking about 10 days before arrival. The car can be rented directly at the airport. We went about 300 meters from the place of arrival, there was a very nice gentleman waiting for us, with whom we sorted out the paperwork and after about 10 minutes we drove off in the rented car. The car was in good condition. Clean, no scrapes or other damage. The return was also without problems. We parked in the same place where we picked up the car and put the keys in the safety deposit box. No problem. The car deposit was returned very quickly by the rental company. Anyway, I recommend FDW insurance. It’s more expensive, but in local traffic, it’s definitely worth it to have that kind of security. “When planning for a trip to Malta I had been looking for car rentals. The cheap ones had awful reviews of customers that had awful experiences. I found out about JS car hire through a blog and I am so glad that I have. Seemless experience at arrivals, with clear instructions via WhatsApp. The car is walking distance from arrivals and Stefan was waiting for us. He took us to the car showing any marks and scratches that were already present. Told us about the process of dropping the car back as well. He even told us to take photos of the car in case there are any disputes of ‘new’ marks. I didn’t have a chance to top up the fuel and received a text saying how much it was and that it would be taken out of the pre-authorisation deposit. Car came fully fueled Clean and good condition. And here’s something really cool: while their standard rental age is 21 to 75, they’ve got options for younger drivers too. If you’re between 18 and 20, you can still rent a vehicle by paying a small daily premium. That’s a game-changer for younger travellers wanting a bit more independence!
