One of the strongest aspects is their fixed-price guarantee, which locks in fares regardless of traffic or peak demand. For us, knowing the cost of a Valletta to Airport trip upfront at €25.50 was a huge plus compared to metered rides that can vary.
What held them back slightly was the lack of a proprietary app or live tracking. Instead, rides are coordinated through WhatsApp and email.
Regardless, they also impressed with chauffeur-driven cars, spacious vans, and even tailor-made excursions. We tried one of their private tours, and the addition of an MTA-certified guide gave the trip a more authentic feel.

The little touches onboard stood out right away: bottled water, sweets, tissues, wipes, and even free Wi-Fi and phone charging.
The chauffeurs are another highlight. They are fully trained, dressed in formal attire, and attentive enough to handle luggage.
However, there’s no mention of child seats or family-friendly features, which makes them less ideal if you’re travelling with young kids.

Hello Cabs Malta was founded in 2018 by Dominic Scicluna, and despite being young, the service already feels polished.
We love how booking is refreshingly straightforward—calls and WhatsApp messages are answered quickly, and we have never had trouble getting through, even late at night.
However, the absence of a dedicated app was noticeable. We had a hard time live tracking and comparing fare estimates.
But still, what impressed us the most was the extras built into the service. Baby and booster seats, charging cables, and a pet-friendly policy made journeys comfortable, and having our dog welcomed without hesitation was a rare plus.
More than that, their cruise-to-Blue-Lagoon transfer is something we hadn’t seen elsewhere. We appreciate the flexible, locally informed routes and drivers who know Mellieħa and Gozo inside out.

“We booked our airport transfer very easily within a few seconds via Whatsapp. Our driver picked us up at home very punctually and was there well before the agreed time (6 am).
